In 2017, two weeks after the passing of Tom Petty a group of fans and community members in Gainesville, came together to pay tribute to Gainesville’s native son. Over 2,500 fans flocked to Heartwood Soundstage to celebrate Tom’s birthday and the music of Heartbreakers.
